​Second Visit - Luminous Facial
Visited Pure Element today for the second time! This time, I went for their Luminous Facial Treatment which involves mainly cleansing, extraction and mask. And introducing my pretty consultant today

​Luminous is a facial focusing on extraction while E-light which was done previously, focuses more on treating and repairing skin cells. There was the massage cleansing first, massage and then the extraction. Well, because of my pimple breakouts, I have ALOT of pimples and acne so my consultant has alot to extract. Lol. TBH, it hurts like mad (the squeezing part). Yeahhh but I kinda ? sign up for this, so I just have to bear with it, ain't it.

​After the extraction, there comes the detox part where she clean away the "dirt" away on my face. It kinda stings but it's bearable. >.<

​My cheek area is slightly 'puffy' cos of the extraction. Nothing serious though. After extraction effect! It's normal to be red after extraction. You can tell that my skin condition is bad. :( I sigh everytime I look at the mirror. Sobs.

Anyway, "cleaner" day ahead. Looking forward to the next appointment at PURE ELEMENT. I hope my face will really heal soon~~ >__<

​Pure Element Skin Centre Experience: First SessionMy exams are finally overrrrrrrrrr. IT'S OVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! After so many sleepless nights (ok la, I did slept but for shorter hours?), I managed to clear all my revision. Thank god this semester only has 2 exam-inable modules. If not I would have been poorer. U__U Anyway, this semester was suppose to be more manageable but somehow my body didn't acknowledge that fact. Since early October, I've been having pimple breakouts. It's getting worser on a daily basis. I've not eaten any fried or oily food or do anything unusual. I guess it all pins down to that 'stress' factor? :(

I used oxy10 throughout the month of October with little recovery. My cheek was smoother back then and I used to enjoy pinching it out of habit (when I'm thinking. lol). Now every pinch stings! The stupid pimples are all over my cheek and chin area. It's really disheartening to look into the mirror. *sobs* I'm glad I somehow survived exams and the horrendous pimple outbreaks (trust me, the period when the pimples keep 'popping' out, it's really unbearable).

First Visit - E-Light Skin Facial Treatment
So fast forward now, it's already November.Visited the skin centre 'Pure Element' @ #01-1180 233 AMK Avenue 3 today. Located at Ang Mo Kio Neighbourhood, this humble centre has been operating since 2007 and they are known for their affordable yet quality service. :3

Spoke to the staff about my skin condition and she advised to try out the E-Light Transformation treatment. It helps to activate the skin cell, renew and repair at the same time. Since my face now is full of acne & pimples, this was her recommended solution.

The staff that attended to me is called Carol. What happened was she cleansed my face first before applying the transparent gel on my face and proceeding to do the E-Light Transformation treatment. The hydrating and lightening gel is to protect the skin. This process is call 'Photo Rejuvenation' whereby pulsed light are combined with radio frequency and are pumped into the skin over the gel. To put it in short, I felt a warm ticklish heat + mini shock sensation on my face when Carol scanned the machine heat over my skin. It's not painful at all and the cold gel does help to reduce the heat. Notice the white light on the machine when she placed it at my cheek area? The machine's handle is actually producing light and heat which are transferred onto my skin during the treatment process.


The light from the E-Light machine will penetrate the face tissue and is absorbed by the pigmented lesions.With substantial sessions, this will help to remove damaged tissue and heal naturally, leaving the skin rejuvenated.

Above photos are the mask session after E-Light treatment (Carol is wiping my face. Oh god, why my face so big lol). The overall benefits of this session is to refine my pores, brighten skin tone, reduce sensitivity (which I feel it will really help cos my skin is rather sensitive), improve hydration etc etc. Since the E-Light Transformation treatment has different program to cater to different skin type, it can improve all skin conditions - which is rather suitable for my case. As advised from my cousin, E-Light helps to kills the bacteria in acne. For people with aging skin, it helps to keep the skin active all the time. For pigmentation, it'll help to lighten the pigments. For blemishes skin, it'll help to lighten up the blemish.

This is my first session yet so I can't really tell much difference but one thing for sure, is that my skin definitely feel more hydrated now. Hehe. Oh, Carol's service was really good too. She's very attentive. xD
